Winter is here, so don't forget to protect your circular saw from freezing! Today, let me share some tips on keeping your circular saw warm.
Before starting the circular saw, check the oil condition. If it's in a liquid state, idle the machine for 5 minutes before use. This not only helps to eliminate any issues but also serves as a preheating process.
If the oil is frozen and solidified, do not operate the machine. Instead, apply heat treatment to the oil, such as using a heating rod or heating pad, until it fully thaws. Then, run the equipment on idle to observe the oil flow and ensure the stability of the device.
In extremely low temperatures, you can wrap the circular saw with foam, cotton cloth, etc., which can help control the oil temperature to some extent. Remove the cotton cloth or foam after starting the machine.
